Minor issues / tweaks – need help with

I am really hoping you will be able to help…, I will start off by apologising, as I know what I am about to ask are really silly questions.

1 – PayPal – all of my estore is setup, however when I use the sandbox to test, I get a message that the funds are pending and that it failed (which means I can’t test whether the email gets sent and customer data transferred etc.). I had a look at some of your posts and it does seem that I hadn’t used my account for some time and that I needed to go through a re-verification. Once completed, does that mean everything should work? Or is there something else I should be doing?

2 – Preferred Payment – at the moment, PayPal is the first payment gateway in the drop down list. I wanted Stripe to be first and PayPal to be second. I found a post with instructions, however when I updated my theme’s main PHP nothing happened.

3 – Is there a way to provide two links for one product? I know there is the variation option, however I want to provide give both a PDF and EPUB version to the customer. I am using PDF stamper, so want PDF to be the first, but it would be really good that when they select a product both links are sent

Like I said, I know they are silly questions (so sorry again), just really close to getting everything working and 100% right on my site

I really do love the Estore product and know it is perfect for my needs.

1) PayPal sandbox testing is more appropriate if you are a developer. For testing if everything is working on your site, you should do a live transaction. Read the following post which will explain a few things on this topic:

2) What change have you done in the code? Can you link to the post that you followed so I can see what you have done?

3) Yeah, you can just enter both the links (separated by comma) in the digital content URL field of the product.

Alternatively, you can use the following “Bundle Products” option. Create an eStore product for the PDF item then create another one for the EPUB item. Create a new product with those two and then you can sell that product.

This approach also lets you offer different options on the landing page by putting buy button for the different products. So you can have the following on your landing page:

#) a buy button just for the PDF product.

#) a buy button just for the EPUB product.

#) a buy button for both.

Thanks for coming back so quickly…, I will read the link you provided with regards to paypal, however when I tried to do a live transaction before, I did get a similar WP Estore email telling me that the funds were pending.

I will need to see where you added the tweak. If you added the tweak in a file that is loading AFTER the hook is triggered then it will have no effect. I will send you an email so you can give me access to your site and show me where you have added the custom tweak.
