Hi I searched the forum but could not find anything to solve my problem. I need to add a surcharge of $0.50 for admin fee whenever customers place an order that is $1.88 or below; if the total amount is above $1.88, the surcharge will not apply. How can i do it with WP estore? Pls advice, thank you

Are these digital or physical products? And if they are physical products, are you charging shipping & handling?

Hi these are digital products, no I’m selling physical products. I just noticed the post by paypal that their policy is not to charge surcharge and instead the workaround is to include the surcharge in the item price. But the thing is that I only want to charge a surcharge for spending of less than $1.88. If I were to increase my product price, then all my products will have to have their price increased as well, as all my products are priced at $1.88. The last thing i want is for my customers to think that my items are pricey, ideally if can keep at $1.88 wud be good.

How about if you use an “automatic coupon,” set to discount the total by $0.50 if the cart total is greater than $1.88:

thank you for the advice, appreciate it, but somehow it means i still have to increase all my products pricing and set an overall discount on the total once the amount hits above $1.88. There’s no other way to work around it? I believe setting a surcharge should be not that difficult, maybe you can consider adding this feature the next time round.

That would require a custom coding job. Please complete the custom work order quote form, and the appropriate person will contact you:
