Membership Site with Videos – Want to burn videos to DVD's

This may not be related to your product, but I need some help. I have a membership site that is an information product with several videos. Since I’m going to an event, I want to sell this via DVD. How can I transfer the eMember structure of pages into a DVD?

So what tools do I need to replicate that onto DVD so people can watch on their own computer or DVD? I know this is a beginner question and sorry if I’m not explaining it right.

Questions for you to better understand what you are trying to do:

1) Your customers will watch the videos on the DVD (just the videos)?

Or

2) You want them to be able to view that full HTML webpage in the DVD as a video? Kind of like an interactive program.

Or

3) You will burn the content of that page on a DVD so it can be shipped and the customers will use it on a computer?

I want to burn DVD’s I can sell in person, or to ship, so they can watch on their computer OR on their TV. I know there is a way to do this, but I just don’t know what tools people use.

So, you want to sell DVDs off of your website? And when they purchase the DVD, they can view all of the DVD content?

There are a lot of people, companies, etc that sell DVD’s of their information products. This info product happens to be in a password protected membership site. How can take that same content so people can see the content on their DVD player?

I’m getting frustrated – I don’t know why this question is so hard to understand. People have information products and sell them all the time either via DVD or behind a password protected site. Somebody has to know how to do this.

Let me rephrase the question…

You want to sell a DVD that has a copy of all the videos that you sell on the site… once they buy the DVD, they are free to watch ALL of the videos contained on the DVD?

Your website content and DVD are not the SAME thing. Your website is viewed via a computer browser which is VERY VERY different than a DVD player. A web browser is completely different from a DVD player. You can’t just put your website content on a DVD then expect that people will be able to play it from a DVD player.

This is why we were trying to understand what exactly you will be putting on your DVD. You can use your videos to make something like a movie and put it on a DVD. Then the DVD player will be able to play it. This is ONLY for the videos though. If you have any textual content that you are offering on your membership site, the DVD player is not the best medium to dispatch that content.

Then there are people who put the files on a DVD to ship to a customer. The customers can access the content from a computer (using the softwares running on a PC). However, these files are just not going to play in a DVD player (like you play a movie).

I hope some of the above explains why there wasn’t a straightforward answer for this.

We understand computer very well but we are not the expert when it comes to DVD Player and playing content on it. You are likely to get a better answer if you ask this question to someone who understand the DVD player world better.

I’m a UK based videographer / producer – I have filmed several fitness DVDs as ‘information products’ for master / resale rights.

You would need to take the videos and burn them onto a DVD – creating a ISO or disc image, this can then be sent / posted to a duplication house where they can burn x amount of copies.

I also know of a london based DVD duplication centre that will ‘burn to order’ and post the DVD worldwide – no need to order 100s of copies

Let me know if you need help or someone to create DVDs for you
