Hi this plugin seems perfect for what I need – however I m having a problem saving membership levels – I start to create one (Ive tried Bronze and Cafe) it says they are available – then it says created, but no listing is displayed. I ve tried this quite a few times and I cannot create a membership level that saves- I have a warning indicating that the plugin works better with php5.2 currently I have 5.16- so not sure if this is the issue or if I am doing something wrong any suggestions would be appreciated thanks

March 9, 2010 at 10:54 pm #17733kc0bukMemberHi Amin,
I’m having the same problem as @efindlow. I’ve already tried deactivating the plugin, removing the plugin files and reinstalling, but I still can’t seem to save a new membership level. What would you suggest I try next?
Thanks!
Jeremiah

March 10, 2010 at 5:06 am #17735kc0bukMemberThanks again for your help Ivy!
For those who may have this issue in the future, if you are using Chrome (for Mac) or Safari, try creating your new member level in Firefox. Firefox, along with a few other updates Ivy provided to the plugin code fixed the problem for me.

March 12, 2010 at 3:55 am #17736marcuscMemberI am having the same trouble. I am getting the following error when trying to save a membership level:
Membership Level “Basic” couldn’t be created due to error.
Have tried different settings, but no cure yet. I am using Firfox as my browser. Any ideas?

Fixed!
I decided to deactivate all plugins in my installation. I then tried to create a product in eStore and a membership level in eMember and it still didn’t work. So I instead deleted the eStore and eMember plugins completely, then re-uploaded them via FTP, re-activated them one at a time. I was able to successfully add a membership level and a product.
Not sure what the problem was but now all is fine.
Thanks,
Marcus

I installed your plugin on a wordpress 2.9.1 version and tried to create new levels. I received a “Membership Level “Free” couldn’t be created due to error.” and no level was created. Tried with IE8 and Firefox
Do I have to do other prep?

January 2, 2011 at 2:32 am #17743amin007ParticipantDid you recently upgraded the plugin and forgot to deactivate and reactivate it? You can get a recent build of eMember plugin from here:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/update-request
Try upgrading the plugin and let me know how it goes.
