I am following along with the video tutorial and am reaching an error message. On the “Membership Level” section I am trying to add the Free membership level, as explained in the video. I have searched the forums and not found an explanation of the problem or the potential solution, so I have created this post.
I am trying to set up the Free membership level only at this time and I appreciate your support.
Can you please try deactivating and then reactivating the plugin and let me know if that fixes the issue?
Nothing like a simple fix… PC-style, right there, simply reboot!
Thank you for the prompt response and I’m excited to finish the video and the setup!
Thank you
Hi,
I am also getting this message. I tried deactivating and reactivating the plugin but this didnt work. What should I do?
Many Thanks
Please log into your cpanel and go to phpMyAdmin under Databases section. Now click on your wpdb database and check if the following two tables have been created –
wp_wp_eMember_members_tbl
wp_wp_eMember_membership_tbl
Let me know how it goes.
Hi,
Thanks for your quick reply.
wp_wp_eMember_members_tbl has been created but not wp_wp_eMember_membership_tbl
That table should have been created when you activated the plugin. For some reason the plugin is failing to create that table. What version of MySQL are you using on your server?
Hi,
We have MySQL v5.1 and PHP 5.2
This site is running on a Windows server.
Thanks
I have sent you an email to get site access.
Hi,
I didnt receive your email but I found the form and submitted a request for site access.
Thanks
