Hi,
First, nice plugins. They work together very nicely.
Now, I looked for an answer before posting but could not find the exact thing I want to do.
Essentially, I have a series of lessons, which members get access to every 7 days. There are 10, so that’s 10 weeks.
However, you know how it is – some members don’t want to wait and even refund if they can’t get everything at once.
My membership is set up as a single payment. I have my levels set up as…
Lesson 1
Lesson 2
…
Lesson 10
All Lessons
Is there a way I can set up a link or button so if a member simply wants all content at once they can get it without a payment? Click – All Lessons access?
I know this is possible in Wishlist and if it is in eMember I have not seen how to do it yet.
Thanks for the help.
Mike
October 26, 2011 at 4:45 am #37930adminKeymasterThe easiest way to do this would be to have another membership level called something like the “All Access Pass”. This membership level will have access to the all the lessons. Now, on your join us page you can give the the choice of buying the “All Access Pass” or the normal one that you have at the moment. People who want everything right now can just buy the “All access pass” (you can also charge slightly extra for this if you want.. really upto you though).
October 26, 2011 at 10:52 am #37931mikeambrosioMemberHi,
Thanks for the feedback.
I do have a separate membership for all lessons and I also considered your option. I did not want to do that because buyer options like this, especially on a digital product, can cause confusion – and a raised cart abandon rate (been there…).
I can do this manually – but you should consider this ability. From a customer service standpoint, it makes life much easier…
That aside, I like these plugins a great deal and look forward to using them on many future sites
Thanks,
Mike
October 27, 2011 at 12:58 am #37932adminKeymasterAdded the following shortcode to eMember which should help you achieve what you are after:
[wp_eMember_upgrade_membership_level_to level=2]
The above shortcode displays an “Upgrade” button that lets the logged in member to set his membership level to a particular level specified in the button. 2 is the target membership level ID in this example. In your case you can use this to let them upgrade to the “All Access Pass” level.
You will need to update eMember to get this new shortcode. Please do the following:
1. Deactivate and delete the currently installed version of the plugin(s).
2. Download a fresh build of the plugin(s) from here:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/update-request
3. Upload and activate this version of the plugin(s). The specific update instruction for the plugin in question can be accessed from here:

October 29, 2011 at 3:38 am #37933mikeambrosioMemberOk, first – wow! Thanks! I should have checked back 2 days ago, but I really appreciate your effort on this. You guys are great.
Second, I did the upgrade as detailed above. I then put the shortcode on my page. When I click the upgrade, I get the following error:
Warning: array_unique() [function.array-unique]: The argument should be an array in /home/simple/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-eMember/wp_eMember1.php on line 1016
Warning: implode() [function.implode]: Invalid arguments passed in /home/simple/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-eMember/wp_eMember1.php on line 1016
Membership Level Upgraded!
When I refresh the page after, the upgrade DOES work fine – I am upgraded for All Lessons.
I have not done anything such as deactivating plugins, etc. If I should do so, let me know.
And again – thanks for this new feature. Now eMember has 100% of what I was looking for.

October 29, 2011 at 10:00 pm #37934adminKeymasterI made some changes to the plugin for that shorcode. Please get another build and give it a try.

Once again, thanks! Excellent support.
