Hi,
I’ve installed eMember, eStore and eAffiliate on an existing membership site.
I’ve added the members manually, and used their original join dates.
Then I’ve created different membership levels to use for drip feeding.
I’ve put each member under their correct level (month1, month2, etc.), but when I logged in the last time, I noticed that there was no longer any membership levels connected to the members.
So I changed every member again. It looked good.
Today, I log back in, and every membership level is gone again for all of the members, except for myself and my husband (admin).
He has the correct membership level, but nevertheless he cannot get access to the sites he should have access to.
I searched this forum for a solution, but couldn’t see anything.
Can you help, please?
Here’s a screenshot of our members:

mois = month
femme = woman
homme = man
They all had the right membership levels connected, and I’ve made it so that “femme – mois 1” automatically levels up to “femme – mois 2”, etc. after 30 days.
October 24, 2011 at 11:54 pm #37839adminKeymasterWhat version of eMember are you using? Do you have the Multiple Membership level feature enabled? Are you using a WP Multi-site Install?
October 25, 2011 at 12:28 am #37840brittSpectatorVersion 7.2.2.
If you mean this one: Enable Secondary Membership: – No.
No, single site – old-fashioned – install.
October 25, 2011 at 1:50 am #37841adminKeymasterThank you. We haven’t been able to pin point the exact combination of server and plugin setup that cause this but 3 of our customers have experienced this so we added some enhancement around the “Auto Upgrade” logic which should resolve this.
Please do the following:
1. Deactivate and delete the currently installed version of the plugin(s).
2. Download a fresh build of the plugin(s) from here:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/update-request
3. Update the plugin following the appropriate update instruction for the plugin in question:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/plugin-installation-and-upgrade-instructions
After the update manually set the membership level of the member to where they belong and and let me know if you observe this behavior again.

I’ve upgraded the eMember plugin, updated the membership level of the members, logged out of the dashboard, closed down Firefox, re-started it, logged in…
And all the members still had the right membership level
This seems promising. I will let you know if anything you happen later, but for now the problem seems to be solved.
Thanks

One of our members just paid, and since his subscription was created with the old system, I logged in to see if he’d been upgraded to the next membership level.
He was …
But everybody else had been upgraded to the highest level, too. Some who should still be in “Woman – Month 2” are now in “Man – Month 6”.
I have eMember v. 7.2.6 installed and running.
October 28, 2011 at 9:50 pm #37844adminKeymasterOkay I will investigate this further on your site. I have sent you an email to get site access so I can checkout the settings and other things.
