Tagged: renewal email
I am getting a “renewal” email at least one time a week for an address which does not appear on the wp emember list.
It is the admin email for our wordpress site. The other admins are also getting it.
I cannot add the email in emember, because it says that the email is already in use.
Help!
I cannot add the email in emember, because it says that the email is already in use.
If it says the email address is already in use; it means there is a member in your database, to whom that email has already been addsigned.
Do you have multiple admins sharing the same email address?
No, each admin has a separate address. By Admin, I mean wordpress administrators that can access the “back end”. We are all getting repetitave emails that we need to renew our WP-emember account, but those WordPress Admin addresses are *not* listed in the wp-emember member list, and never have been.
Normally, eMember is unaware of any WP User accounts; because they have separate databases. Are you using account syncing between WP User and eMember accounts?
No, we purposely keep WordPress admin names as society position emails. emember members use their personal address. There is not crossover.
At this time, the only thing I could suggest is to turn on the debug logs, and the next time it happens, check the logs to see if anything is going on.
