I am implementing wp emember on a new site. I ahve it running fine on another one. I can register as a user, but the membership level does not show up on the screen after the user is logged in. All content indicates it is protected, which I would expect if the user has no membership level.
I’m using a registration form shortcode that will register the member directly to a specified member level (in this case, 2)[wp_eMember_registration_form_for level=2]
. That member level shows fine on the registration form, but nowhere after that, not even in the admin member page. The member level field is blank.
I just dwnloaded a fresh version this morning, so I think it should be up to date.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Steve
February 11, 2012 at 10:09 pm #41845PeterMemberHi Steve, Make sure you have a membership level with level ID 2.
Please see the following link and read all the sections and posts carefully and then check your settings appropriately:

I have it as level 2, I’m calling it WSO, and it shows up on the log in form when I sign in. After I sign in though, there is nothing, and if I check the members screen I am showing I (I am the only user so far) have no membership level.
If I go to the Membership levels screen I can see he level though, and it is the only level that I have available.
Thanks,
Steve
February 12, 2012 at 9:30 pm #41847PeterMemberOk so you say you’ve got the latest version of eMember and you’ve checked all of your settings.
Let’s wait for admin to read this and he will suggest something else you can try or request site access so we can take a look.
One more question:
” if I check the members screen I am showing I (I am the only user so far) have no membership level”
In the “Members” section of the administration panel – have you tried editing the member with the blank level and setting it manually?
February 13, 2012 at 12:16 am #41848adminKeymasterSent you an email to get site access so I can check it out.
February 14, 2012 at 12:08 am #41849OpportunitiesMemberSent you the log in info this morning. Sorry, I didn’t post here at the time.
February 14, 2012 at 3:31 am #41850adminKeymasterI just went to your registration page and filled out the form to create and member account and everything worked fine for me.
I can login using the account I just created and I can see that my membership level is WSO. What am I missing?
