Hi, I am wondering does WP eMember only records one join date for each member?
If Jane for instance joined membership A in April 8, 2011 and then later on also joined membership B in June 11, 2011 (membership B is not an upgrade of membership A – totally different), would WP eMember record the two date or only one (the first date – April 8, 2011)?
The reason I am asking this question is because I am planning to instal a drip content plugin that works seamlessly with WP eMember (tested it on my test site).
Thank you in advance for your kind assistance.
Regards,
Adjie
Sorry, I forgot to mention the following: after 30 days (since the join date) member of membership B will receive bonus M1, after 60 days bonus M2, etc
The the auto membership upgrade feature will always work based on the Primary membership level (it won’t care what secondary levels the member may or may not have). This is the only way to keep it linear.
Hi Amin thank you for your reply, much appreciated.
What if membership B is not an upgrade of membership A. Would WP eMember records two different joint date or only one (the earliest)?
It will always record the join date of the primary membership level. A member can have only one primary level. So in your example if the member’s primary level is A then the join date will be the one for that level. If his primary level is B then the join date will be the one for level B.
Thank you, you’ve been very helpful.
