ICAA
MemberHello!
I am trying to import my existing 600+ members into my new website using the eMember Bulk Import Add-On. (The members in question are not WordPress users.) I used the skeleton CSV file provided in the plugin documentation, but even after formatting my entries to match the file, I get an error message that says “No User Found.” I’m not sure where I’m going wrong. If you’d like me to email you a file of the CSV file I’m trying to upload, I’m happy to do so. Thank you very much for your help!
Best,
Meghan

Moderator…I get an error message that says “No User Found.”
Please be as verbose & detailed as possible, and describe what steps led you to getting that particular message.

Member1. Downloaded and installed Bulk Member Import Add-On
2. Downloaded the skeleton CSV file that is provided in this article: https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-membership/bulk-member-data-importer-addon-853
3. Deleted the entries in the skeleton CSV file to make room for my own members
3. Created a “test list” of members and entered them into the skeleton CSV file, to ensure they were in the proper format. Saved the file.
4. Went to Member Bulk Import under the WP eMember menu in my WP admin panel, and clicked “Upload a CSV file”
5. Selected the saved CSV file.
6. Received error message “No User Found.”
Any recommendations on where I went wrong? You can download my CSV file to take a look for yourself and see if it contains any errors: [www.insulate.org/member_list_test.csv] Thank you!

KeymasterI will jump on your site and take a look. I have sent you an email for it.
Update
Turned out the CSV file format was incorrect. After you edit the file, you need to make sure to save is back as a CSV file. There is an option in Excel to save it as a CSV file.
