Does the affiliate need to have a paypal account to get the mass pay thing to work?
If so, how do you get the affiliate to set up a paypal account if they don’t have one?
Does paypal send out checks to people who don’t have a paypal account?
What happens when you get an affiliate that does not have a paypal account? How do they get paid with the mass payment method? If they don’t get paid, how do those affiliates get paid and how can you tell which affiliates did not get paid during the mass paypal payment method?
thank you,
Dave

Take note of this report (You can copy it to a excel file).
Now, the ones that do not have a PayPal email address you simply mail them a check manually. Then you hit the “Create MassPay File” button and it will create a text file that you can use to make a PayPal mass payment to the affiliates who specified a PayPal account. Making a mass payment is easy:

Once you have paid out everyone in the report (some via check, some via PayPal) you can hit the “Mark as Paid” button and the plugin will mark these commissions as paid in the system.
Some people like to make a rule that payments are only paid out by PayPal (I do this for my site because I don’t want to cut checks given the fact that opening a PayPal account is free and super easy). You will see this practice (paying affiliates via PayPal) very common these days. You can also make the PayPal email address field a required field for so the affiliates have to specify this data when they sign up:
Its really up to you to decide how you want to handle your affiliate payments. At the end of the day as long as your affiliates get the money they are happy.
