Manual Checkout for free item not send product download link

Hi there,

My client is a photographer who wishes to allow users to purchase high res images from her site.

I have configured wp eStore and Next Gen gallery using the alternative integration method.

when the price is set to anything over 0.00 everything works great – Paypal is the chosen payment gateway.

However we need to set up a gallery that will allow the users to download free copies using the same kind of encryption link sent via email.

I have the manual gateway option checked so if the price is 0.00 it will bypass paypal and go to manual gateway.

I receive an email but the email states “275120001 ([pid:14278]) – This product does not have any downloadable content”.

It happens when I set a coupon for 100% off as well. It also happens when I set the price as not free. It seems anything via manual checkout does not create the download link.

I really need some help!

I have scoured the forums and found nothing to help the manual checkout issue. There are hundreds of images in the gallery so I don’t really want to add an individual product in for every one.

Any info you could give would be VERY appreaciated.

Just to verify… you have the “Send Product Download Links in the Email” checkbox checked under the manual checkout settings section right? By default manual checkout doesn’t send the links automatically because you should only give the download links after a confirmed payment.

The scenario you are using is not an usual one so I will look in the code and see what happens when you use the alternate method of NextGen gallery integration to give the downloads for free via manual checkout.

I have made some adjustments in the code for this NextGen gallery integration with manual checkout, can you please do the following:

1) Load a new build of the plugin:

3) Do a test and let me know how you go.
