Tagged: custom field, Manual Checkout
Hi,
I can’t seem to find this anywhere which seems strange as I thought it would be fairly standard.
I am selling a product to businesses (ie. B2B) and as such in both the Paypal and the manual checkout sections I need them to be able to enter in their business name as well as there contact name so that the invoice/receipt I send is addressed to the company and not to the individual.
Is this possible?
I presume Manual Checkout will be some sort of coding – can this then include a email shortcode to include in the sent emails.
What about Paypal? I can’t seem to find anything on there website about adding fields to the checkout page although in the developer section there was a field that could be passed to paypal called payer_business_name.
Any thoughts on this would be very helpful.
Just for comparisons sake. Here is a screenshot of another shopping cart I use on a different website where they let you choose what fields are visible on the billing and shipping fields.

Please see if this helps you with the manual checkout form:

There’s very little you can do to affect what PayPal asks for, but maybe this might be a suitable alternative:
