Hello,
I’m helping a client set-up WP eStore on her site and when I enter the Authorization Code from Aweber but the button does not change from “remove connection” to “make connection.
WordPress 3.9.2
WP eStore v7.1.1
Is there anything else I should be checking?

If the button says “Remove connection” then that means it is already connected and you should be good to go ahead. When it says “Make connection” that means it is not connected.
Should the authorization key still be visible? When I go back in to check the authorization code is not there.
