I have built an HTML sales page that is in the same domain (www.SmokendersOnline.com) as my WP system (with WP estore, wp affiliate, Wishlist member) is running on, but not within WP. My main page is redirected to my HTML sales page (www.Smokendersonline.com/sales1.html) So, when the affiliate link ( http://www.SmokendersOnline.com?ap_id=richie) arrives and gets redirected, do I lose the affiliate id at that point?

I tried coming in with an affiliate link, going to the sales page, buying the product and checking out (Authorize.net), but when I went back to the affiliate system, it showed a clickthru, but the sale and commission did not get recognized.

Is there a way to maintain the affiliate ID/link while the visitor is on the sales page?

I couldn’t get a sales page to do what I needed within WP & Profit Theme, so had to revert to building a traditional sales page in HTML and then redirecting the main URL page to it. Obviously, I didn’t think about the ramifications that would have on affiliate sales.

Affiliate platform won’t work with standalone HTML pages. Full details and workaround explained here:

My problem is similar….I am the affiliate marketing manager and have the Plugin installed on WP (of course :)). But the client’s shop is on Joomla and I need to be able track user orders. Would the “

API – Awarding Commission via HTTP GET or POST”? work?

    Any other workaround?

    Thank you!

There are some things that you can do with the commission awarding API but the landing/sales page still need to be in WordPress otherwise it won’t work.
