Hi guys,
When I attempt to use the Ajax squeeze page, I’m not allowed to preview or publish the page. Any solutions?
Also I notice there’s an option to add to a particular autoresponder list for each product. Should I enter my Mailchimp list.
Thanx in advance,
Tasherre
July 31, 2010 at 1:05 am #22943wpCommerceModeratorCan you please post a link to the page where you are using the Ajax squeeze page type form? Yes, you can add a customer to a particular autoresponder list of mailchimp for each product but before that you need to set up your mailchimp settings under Autoresponder settings of WP eStore settings
July 31, 2010 at 1:09 am #22944d_enajeticMemberWell I’m in the backend of the site and everytime I click preview nothing happens. When I click publish I get a blank page. Not sure how I can send you that.
July 31, 2010 at 1:11 am #22945d_enajeticMemberAnd I was wondering if its necessary to enter the list to each product. I already have it checked in the autoresponder options.
July 31, 2010 at 1:21 am #22946wpCommerceModeratorIf you check the “Global mailchimp integration” option from the settings, your customer of every transaction will be automatically signed up to your mailchimp list and with that you need to also specify the “mailchimp list” name. But if you want your customer to sign up to a different list, specify it while adding/editing a product.
July 31, 2010 at 1:28 am #22947d_enajeticMemberOk, thanks for the intergration help. Any advice on the failing ajax squeeze form?
July 31, 2010 at 2:22 am #22948IvyMemberHi, We will need to take a closer look at your site. I will send you a site access request via email please let me know if you do not receive this email.
July 31, 2010 at 2:51 am #22949d_enajeticMemberHey Ivy,
I sent you the info you needed.
July 31, 2010 at 5:32 am #22950amin007ParticipantI had a look at your site and it looks like you are trying to use JavaScript in the description field of that product which is not inside a script tag.
Remove the bad code from the description field and try it out.
July 31, 2010 at 5:55 am #22951d_enajeticMemberSo I removed the Javascript, cleared the cache and loaded the shortcode into a fresh page and its still doing the same thing.
July 31, 2010 at 6:25 am #22952amin007ParticipantThe scripts and HTML on your webpage is broken badly. I just validated the following page using w3 validator (http://validator.w3.org/) and there are 87 errors on the page! Not all errors are extreme but some are.

So whats happening is that you have many unclosed HTML tags that haven’t been closed in that page which is completely throwing the ajax script tag of the squeeze page.
You need to start cleaning up the coding violations a bit then you will see the squeeze page form will appear nicely.

August 1, 2010 at 2:21 am #22954d_enajeticMemberHey Amin,
Just getting home from work. I’ll check into those errors shortly and report back with the results.
Thanx for the help as always.
