Our firefighters union is using emember to protect our online voting process. So far it works great.
I would like to inform people from different shifts when there’s a vote they should cast. I have 7 different membership levels (one for each shift). Is there a way with emember and Mailchimp to automatically (with a shortcode or something) inform only the people in a certain membership group when there is a vote they need to cast?
Or do I need to set up and maintain corresponding lists in Mailchimp?
Thanks!
Email notification to your Mailchimp group can only be sent from your MailChimp account. eMember can signup member of particular membership level to a particular list in your MailChimp account when they register for an account. However, the email broadcast to the list can only be done from your MailChimp account.
mgroffy,
Can you share what plugin (or wordpress feature) you are using for voting?
We’ve been looking around for a voting plugin and have not found one as yet.
