Hello,
Regarding previous posts from ” Login link problems” I am having the same problem. I do not have the “Enable After login Redirection” clicked.
Have you resolved the issue, or is there an additional change that has occurred since the last posts?
thx!
June 9, 2015 at 1:56 am #16132adminKeymasterThere is no issue that needs to be resolved in the plugin (you likely need some help with the setup).
Please explain to me exactly what issue you are seeing so I know where things are going wrong. Also, share a link to the page where you have the issue so we can see it.
June 9, 2015 at 11:36 pm #16133msrobinMemberI am selling programs through Sensei, and I have purchased eMember and eStore. On the top menu bar I have included the my-courses as tab (logged out users can view). I tried to create it as a sub-menu for logged in users only, but that didn’t work.
If you use the member login tab first, then to the my-courses tab, all is well.
However, if a member tries to login through the my-courses tab (the option is there), it will redirect you to an additional login page (my-courses/?event=login)
that includes the registration form to complete again.
You can complete either of these fields and they will take you to the my-course page, but it confusing and unnecessary.
The additional login page of my-courses/?event=login is what I would like to eliminate.
thx!
June 9, 2015 at 11:49 pm #16134adminKeymasterWhich plugin is putting the login link in the my-courses tab?
June 9, 2015 at 11:54 pm #16135msrobinMemberThe text in the page states: Usercourses.
I’m assuming it is Sensei…?
I only have one My Account page – which (I believe) was created by Sensei.
I am trying to access the My Account page by being logged in and not. After trying this again tonight, I am now receiving a page that states [WP_estore_my_account] when I try to login to the My Account page. I have not changed the text from Usercourses.
It did not do that an hour ago – but I have seen this problem before, which is why I set up the My Account as a menu item. That was not something I really wanted as a tab.
June 10, 2015 at 12:53 am #16136adminKeymasterOur plugin doesn’t put any links in other pages. So you need to figure out where the link is coming from (we can’t modify a link that we are not creating in the first place). Maybe share a URL of a screenshot so we can see what you are talking about.
June 10, 2015 at 12:58 am #16137msrobinMemberSorry, I just double checked the link…been a long day.
The link is to the WP_eStore_my_account.
If I could send you a screen shot I could show you that this page was showing login and a registration fields earlier tonight.
June 10, 2015 at 11:03 pm #16138adminKeymasterWP eStore doesn’t have/create any “my account” page. Edit your “my account” page and remove the eMember protection from that page.
You can upload the screenshot to your site then share the link.
June 11, 2015 at 12:41 am #16139msrobinMemberThanks a bunch!!
I didn’t realize that it was associated with Woocommerce, and I didn’t delete it when I uploaded your product. I’m such a rookie
thx!
