Hi there
Is it possible to set all the post form emember plugin to send to https ?
If not, is it possible to add this feature in the next version ?
Thx
You have 2 options.
1. Make your entire site use HTTPS. I use this plugin. You can ignore the warning on the plugin page.
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/force-ssl
2. This is a more “elegant,” and up to date solution. It allows you to specify which pages require HTTPS.
Ok, thx for those options.
I want my site http, and only post.
The widget to register or log in in on all page, I don’t want to add all post page (and this way transform my site in https site)
Is it a big job to make post (resgister, login, forgot password) https by option ?
Thx
You can’t just make specic post HTTPS. Simply create specific pages for the following functionality (you probably already have this):
– Registration page (create a WP page and put the corresponding eMember’s shortcode)
– Member Login page (create a WP page and put the corresponding eMember’s shortcode)
– Forgot password page (create a WP page and put the corresponding eMember’s shortcode)
Now, make the above mentioned pages to be in HTTPS. All of our plugins are coded to work with HTTPS page. I can’t say the same for other plugins or theme that you may be using though. If you have one plugin that doesn’t work with HTTPS then the whole thing won’t work.
