I have logged out of the page which seems to add the following to the end of the url:
?member_logout=1
But if I then attempt to login again it seemingly just refreshes that page with the same url rather than logging me back in. For that to happen I have to go back to the link removing the end of the url (mentioned above) into the browser address field. Fine for me but not really for my users.
What version of eMember are you using? Please post a link to the page where I can log in as a guest member and check this out.
The latest version I presume (Version v7.6.0). Unfortunately I’m unable to add a url on to this site as it’s a site currently in production. If you send me a private message then I will send you the url.
It seems to be that the /?member_logout=1 that gets added to the end of the url is the issue though.
Are you using the “After login redirection” feature?
Hi. Thanks for getting back to me. I’ve actually tried both ways i.e. with “after login redirection” enabled and disabled and both ways still seem to keep the /?member_logout=1 path at the end of the url. Do you have an email address where I could send you the link and login for my dev site? Thanks again.
If you have after login redirection then it is not possible to exhibit this behavior. Please send me the URL in the email and I will investigate it.
Thanks for getting back to me. I’ve just emailed you via the contact form on your website.
