Little issue…paypal or??

First of all, I finally caved in to buy this plugin. I was using a free one, but it didn’t work as well as this one for a digital download cart. It’s great, thanks.

Anyhow, I have set it up completely. Works well. But, I do have one small issue and I’m not sure if it’s a paypal issue or this cart’s issu:

Currently, I am ONLY using the “buy now” feature and NOT the shopping cart for one product. After submitting payment, paypal does NOT redirect back to our “thank you” page that we a have set up and that has the digital download link on it. I realize that the link comes via email, but when I purchased your e-store(via digital download), I noticed that there was no delay between PayPal and YOUR Thank You page with the digital download link on it. When I do it on ours, there is an orange button that says “return to ARWebSolutions, Inc” on the PayPal page (see image here http://www.macmakeup.net/images/paypalCapture.JPG ). That is the name of our company, but…I want to it to auto redirect to our thank you page automatically.

I looked inside PayPal’s “Website Payment Preferences” and saw this: (see image) http://www.macmakeup.net/images/paypalCapture2.JPG. I realize that I can set it there, but I sell many things from 3 other of our companies and use this paypal account to collect the monies. I cannot have all transactions from all companies redirected to a non-relevant page.

Hi kihon, You can’t use “Automatic Redirection” anyway. When you use Auto redirect PayPal do not post the payment data back to the “Thank You” page and without the payment data the plugin won’t display the download links.

I have the same setup as you (I don’t have auto redirection). I did customize the text on the “return button though”. I think mine says “Click here for your downloads”. You can customize this from the “Payment Gateway” settings menu of the plugin.
