I need to link a product to a page.

I am using eStore as well as eMember and want a download page that shows a longer description of the actual download. I don’t want to have to manually enter the code on each page, and the categories short code does what I want for an “overview” page.

In other words, I would like a landing page for each level that lists the downloads in short form. I then need to link (title or a button or something), that links to a detail page. This is important because there is licensing information as well as enhanced descriptions on the detail page.

Please clarify/explain, by example what you are trying to do, and what you want to happen. Are you using one of our fancy product display templates to display the item? If you are then which fancy template one are you using?

I’m not using any funcy template, i only user wordpress default theme, i only use WP ESTORE plugin too, i want how to change link to product when i add/edit product,this is link screenshot: [http://i.imgur.com/JXGilkP.png]. Also my minicart not good, i want in minicart have thumbnail and cost too. Please tell me how to do it. Also i’m newbeen with this plugin.

That is the permalink for the detailed product page, that you created in WordPress. Create your detailed product page, and then copy/paste the permalink into the field, you are asking about.

Again, please better explain what you mean. Do you want to display product thumbnail images with the cart?

If that is what you are trying to do, you must install the “extra shortcodes addon” and use the [wp_eStore_cart_with_thumbnail] shortcode.

But i still don’t know how to create product detail page, i know create wordpress page but i don’t know shortcode or any way will paste in product detail page editor. Also if i make product detail page will have link like this ” http:demo-site.com/product-detail”, i don’t know link’s format needed for per product. Because when i added a product i see many option, i want’s in product detail page show all fields i added to per product (example: description, video, image…). Also what’s i need to do with product detail page or i need create product detail page for per product?

Can you show me all steps : 1. make product detail page, 2. get link of product detail for per product added?

Please help me, i watched all your video, but i never seen any video teaching how to make product detail page and get permalink for per product. Why not have function auto add link for product, why must make product detail page? Also i still not understand.

The product detail page is just a normal WordPress page, that you create in WordPress, that describes “in detail,” the product. You then copy/paste the permalink for that page into the field. Having a product detail page is optional; most products can be described using the normal “product description” field.
