Link back to the site from PayPal

Hi,

Background: I’m using WP eMember and WP eStore for a membership site with a Buy Now button which takes you directly to PayPal for payment.

I noticed that after a payment in PayPal, there’s a link that can bring the customer back to the site. Now the link is my email address, is there a way to customize the link text, e.g. “Go Back To MyWebsite.com Now”, rather than an email address which is not much intuitive and people may not even think to click on?

Ideally, it would be nice if the customers are redirected back to the site after successful payment, but my understanding is that this is not possible with the current setup, correct?

There is a settings option in eStore that lets you customize the return button text. Go to the “Payment Gateway Settings” tab and use the “Customize the Return Button Text” field of PayPal gateway settings.

Recently the PayPal Payment Data Transfer (PDT) feature was added to eStore. Now you can automatically redirect your customer from PayPal to the “Thank You” page of your site and show the download link. You can have a look at the video tutorial of this post on how to configure this –
