Limiting Lightbox to a single category

Greetings,

I have 10 categories each with it’s own thumbnail and one to 8 specific images related to the category. The lightbox starts with the thumbnail and goes through the images for the category, then continues to the next category and the next.

It’s confusing for the customer. Is it possible to show just the images I have loaded into the thumbnail and additional images fields for each category?

(BTW, I did upgrade to the Lightbox 2 plugin — this didn’t fix my challenge.
