WP eStore Version v7.1.8
Wordpress Version 4.6.1
Issue: My client wants to run a sale. 20% off all items in store EXCEPT memberships. All items are assigned to Product Categories 1-7, with memberships in category 1. I set up Automatic Discount Settings and built a 20% off coupon. Apply Coupon Automatically for Sub-total Over is set for $1 and and points to a coupon code.
The coupon is 20% off, and I set its Conditions to “Product Category ID” “is greater than” “1”. My understanding is that should apply the coupon discount to any item other than the memberships in category 1.
However, when I test it, the discount is not applied to any item and I get a message that the purchase does not meet minimum conditions. The only way I seem to get the discount applied is to set Conditions to “Total Amount” “is greater than” “1”. But that also applies the discount to a membership purchase.
What am I doing wrong?
The category ID condition didn’t have support for the “greater than” condition. It used to only do the “equal to” condition.
I have added the ability to handle the “greater than” condition in there which should solve the issue.
I have sent you an update via email.
Thanks! That works just the way we were wanting now.
