limit the amount of inventory per variation

Is there a way to limit the amount of inventory for each variation of a product? For example, if there are 3 of product x available in red, 4 available in black, and 1 available in brown, can the plugin track inventory for each variation, so a customer cannot buy 2 brown?

You can have separate prices for each variation, but the plugin website says inventory limits are not supported

Hi, The info from the website is correct. At this stage we don’t have an inventory limit option for each variation. Our plugin is biased towards digital product seller and inventory limitation is not an issue for digital products so we don’t have that feature.

It would be super awesome if you developed a way to manage quantity by variation. Even if your plugin started off being biased to digital downloads, you could really expand you market for the client that might be wanting to sell physical products. I bought your plugin because I do websites for ebook authors, but I also do websites for clients that sell physical products. I like your plugin very much, I just wish it catered to both equally. Is there a plan in the works for being able to manage inventory for variations?

Hi a similar question. I have been using wp-estore for our course bookings, for a year or so, and am really pleased with it. I use the advanced variations addon to limit numbers on each course, but wondered if it was possible to display these? So if someone wants to book say 3 places, and there are only 2 remaining, this is made plain on the site and in the shop?

If you have 2 places left then when someone tries to order 3 (it will give them a message telling them that there are only 2 left).

Hi Thanks for the response. I am aware that it will not let people buy more than the available number, but would like to display this figure. We often have people contacting us to ask if places are available, & it would be good to be able to make this clear.
