I can’t seems to find the way to do this?
How to block the leave a comment box from showing to people who aren’t logged in?
WordPress Settings -> “Discussions” -> “Users must be registered and logged in to comment”
Use this together with the eMember’s WordPress Users Integration feature.
Ok.. got it… thanks..
One more question, for the Worepress Uers Integration, is there a way to limit the integration to only some membership levels?
For example this is what I wanted to do
To have a complete locked site, but if user create an account they will get to become a Visitor membership which will give them access to read but not to post comment.
Only after I upgrade their membership, do they have access to post.
Also if I do downgrade them, is there a way to block them from commenting again without deleting the wordpress account?
I could do custom coding… just tell me what part should I look at in the coding
You are approaching it in a slightly wrong way I think
In WordPress you control what a person can or cannot do via Role settings. So what you do is configure your WordPress roles so that users of certain roles can comment only. Then in eMember you can specify which membership level should put a user in which role.
