Lightbox Ultimate Problems with mp4 Video and html5 and Flowplayer

latest WP, latest Plugin, no other plugins installed

Browser: Firefox 46.0.1

I have a mp4-Video which plays directly in browser without difficulties. Included in the html5 shortcode opens only a lightbox without the video. Included in the Flowplayer shortcode opens only the dark background without lightbox.

In Vivaldi 1.2.490.39 Flowplayer works but html5 doesn’t.

Settings:

Enable MP4 Video Display = Enabled

Enable Fancybox = Enabled

Enable Flowplayer = Enabled

Enable HTML5 = Enabled

Hi, The second shortcode seems to be working fine for me. Which browser are you using?

I’d like to use the native HTML5 player. So it would be nice if the first shortcode would also work. With Firefox 46.0.1 flowplayer works now. It was an issue with noscript extension I have overlooked.

So second short code works in all 3 browsers, also in IE11. The problem with the HTML5 shortcode persists. The lightbox is to small and autoplay does not work. Please could you give some hints how to fix this?

We have been able to fix the issue. I have sent you a copy of the updated version via email. Let me know if you don’t receive it.

Please note that the native HTML5 player (MediaElement) is not meant to be used in lightbox (It can be buggy). It works well when embedded in the content area of a post/page. There is a good reason why we don’t recommend this shortcode to the users.
