New user here. I like Lightbox Ultimate. It saves me a lot of time and i get exactly what I want. I’m playing my mp4 videos from private S3 storage and it works great… Until I go full screen in Flowplayer. Then video fills the entire screen regardless of the original video’s aspect ratio. I checked IE and Firefox and got the same behavior.
Any way to fix this?
Hi, Can you please share the link to the page where you are using the flowplayer shortcode?
Thanks for the response.

The first two videos are 4:3 standard def videos and when I go full screen on my 16:10 widescreen monitor the video is stretched to fill the screen.
Hi, I think It’s going to happen no matter what video player you use. If you want to keep the same ratio in fullscreen mode you might want to try some external video hosting sites like Vimeo or YouTube.
we will still look into it to see if Flowplayer has any option to adapt to the current screen resolution.
Well, the very last video uses the JW player and works as expected. In my experience with flash web video, there is usually a variable in the player or code that tells flash how to handle things like aspect ratio.
we will see what we can do.
Any idea?
Hi, we made some changes to the flowplayer code. Please get a fresh copy of the plugin from here: https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/update-request
Let me know how it goes.
I installed the updated plugin. The full-screen aspect ratio is correct now. Thanks!
You’re welcome.
