Hi,
I am using Lightbox Ultimate to display protected videos hosted on AWS S3. Works like a dream
I want to provide a download link for my customers, as explained in your tutorials, but can´t get the download button to work.
I have followed your video tutorial on How to embed protected videos from Amazon S3 and your AWS S3 integration tutorial.
I create URL for my protected videos following the guide like this:
as3tp://bucket.s3.amazonaws.com/folder/object
I added this URL in my digital content details, with my own bucket name, folder and mp4 link.
I have added a download now button on my post, with the product id as explained in your tutorials.
But the link isn´t working. When I click the download button, I get “page not found”.
Is it the same URL no matter what location I use on AWS? What can I do to look for what´s wrong in my setup?
Thanks for great tutorials, I hope I can get this last peace of the puzzle to play with me.

March 15, 2013 at 8:56 am #54450joyannMemberI´m sorry if I explain this wrong, I´, not native english. It is not about Lightbox Ultimate. I an referring to a tutorial video on your Lightbox Ultimate page about AWS integration.
The video also shows how to make a buy-now button in eStore which links to a file stored on AWS S3.
My question is about creating the right link in eStore – Digital Content
My link is: as3tp://mailchimpkursus.s3.amazonaws.com/opret-mailchimp-konto.mp4
Why is this link not working? I have done my best to follow the video-tutorial here, the last minutes explain about buy-now buttons and AWS:
March 15, 2013 at 10:08 pm #54451wpCommerceModeratorHi, I think you are mixing the Amazon S3 feature of eStore with Lightbox Ultimate. They don’t work the same way.
Lightbox Ultimate is a different plugin that allows you to display your content in overlay. That’s all it does. You can either pop up the content from a text or an image (when clicked) and there are shortcodes to do that (under Plugin Usage).
WordPress Lightbox Ultimate Plugin – Display Media in a Fancy Lightbox Overlay
If you want to pop up private videos hosted on S3 you need to follow this instruction:
And that’s how it works. Lightbox ultimate doesn’t know how you are using a S3 link in eStore or how you are planning to use it with a buy now button.
