New member and trying to figure something out…
The S3 protected videos play in a lightbox, so when I do expiration times, does it start when the PAGE with the link included is loaded, or when the LIGHTBOX is loaded?
I’d like to list them all there, and then when they click a link it plays the video in a lightbox, but I’d like to let the page with all the links stay open… Will this work? Or does the expiration start when the page loads and shows all the lightbox links?
If the plug doesn’t work this way, is there a way to do this? Can I load another PAGE containing the video into the lightbox and have the lightbox load a page instead of the video itself?
Basically, I just want a list of links that is protected behind the membership plug, and the videos aren’t downloadable by the users when they get to them.
Hi, the timing starts as soon as the page loads. You can use a higher expiration time so the links remain valid for a long time.
Can I load another PAGE containing the video into the lightbox and have the lightbox load a page instead of the video itself?
I’m not sure if it will work. May be try one of the shortcodes to display the page in lightbox and see how it goes (HTML Page Content Display in overlay section):
