Lightbox not working for Vimeo and shortcode is showing up

JavaScript errors are very sensitive. If there is one error anywhere on the page the whole page might be non-responsive and jQuery will not function properly.

I am sorry, but which page are you referring to, and any idea how I can solve that?

Tried to create a new page with just the code, but does not seem to work as well.

Update: I change the theme and it works now… Guess I need to talk to the developer of the template.

Hi, I believe the error is not limited to a specific page. If it’s coming from a plugin or theme it’s likely to be on every page. You can check for any error from your browser’s developer tools option. For example: if you are using –

a) Google Chrome or Safari

b) Firefox [Install the firebug addon. Now open firebug and switch to Console]

c) Internet Explorer 9 [press F12. Now switch to Console]

I did that but it shows an empty page.

I contacted my web template provider but they say they do not support 3rd party plugins.

Is there any guide for me to be able to remove the Java errors by myself? I have read through solutions to change templates, but that is not a solution for me since I paid for the template.

If anyone can help me with this, I will really appreciate it.

Well, as long as there are errors you won’t be able to use any jQuery or JavaScript plugin (because it will not function properly).

It’s a bit odd if a theme doesn’t support 3rd party plugins because users will always need to install different WordPress plugins for different functionality.
