Lightbox not displaying all the images/or displaying too many

Hello,

I am having a problem with the Lightbox feature. I have gone through the forums and tried some of the “solutions” but still can’t get it to work properly. I think I had a similar issue with a previous build that somehow was resolved but don’t recall when/how. Later I decided to not use the lightbox at all and turned it all off. Now I want to use it again.

WP eStore version 5.8.7 Lightbox2 version 2.9.2

#1 – With WP eStore Lightbox feature turned on and Lightbox2 plugin deactivated, I can scroll through all the images for all the products I have set up, instead of just the image(s) associated with the product. Back/next buttons are displayed as well as an image count (eg. 2 of 24) below the image title.

#2 – With WP eStore Lightbox feature turned off and Lightbox2 plugin activated, only one image shows per product, even if there are multiple images setup to display.

I have deactivated/activated each plugin separately several times, as well as uninstall/reinstall.

Currently my settings are as #2 above. As an example, “Apricot Cherry” and “Black Pearls” both have multiple images and only one is displaying.

You mean the lightbox image set is not working. There was a tweak you had to do to get image set working with the lightbox-2 plugin. This post will remind you what to do:

If you get a latest build of eStore, the image set will work by default now (no need to use the lightbox-2 plugin).

I was hoping that someone could help me figure out an issue I am having with lightbox. When I post my 400 X 200 multiple product pictures in the product manager I’m getting huge pictures, so big that I have to use the side bars to navigate to the click next tab to see the other photos. Any idea’s why this would be doing this to such a small picture resolution?

You are using a very very large picture. The “0581.jpg” image that you are using for the main thumbnail has a resolution of 2720 x 3448!

They are not 400×200 as you seem to be thinking. Make sure to re-size your image then upload it and use it.

WOW your right ! I must have selected the larger resolution picture instead of the smaller one that I was trying to solve the problem with.. Easy fix.. I like it !
