The WordPress Lightbox is not opening centrally. I have a website which is very long horizontally lets say 5000px wide – on the 2nd or 3rd page (2000px / 3000px) there is a WP Lightbox link but it wont load the video centrally? (its off screen)

    Any ideas?

    Many thanks

Can you post a link to the page with the video?

There may be things you can do with CSS to correct the alignment.

    Thanks for your quick reply

    Please go to: http://www.demondrink.co.uk/demo/

Click skip video, then click the button on the far right (the Demon one), then click on the Vimeo video link – see how it opens the video to the left?

    Many thanks

Hi, I don’t think it’s an issue with the plugin. You are navigating across the screen from the initial position with some fancy JavaScript code I guess. So when you click the anchor the plugin is trying to load the popup at the position you are meant to be.

I understand that your webpage is much wider. But the browser needs to know about that. Usually a horizontal scrollbar shows up when the browser cannot fit the webpage in the current viewport (In your case there is none). You are exploring parts of the webpage using JavaScript.

Thanks – is there no way of telling lightbox exactly how big the page is and focusing it accordingly?

It will automatically popup in the middle of the current viewport (even if you scroll down the page). You can see the demo page:

Thanks – I understand the problem (and that there isnt a solution) – because im moving the website with fancy javascript the viewport isn’t changing too

    Thanks for your time
