If users use spacebar to pause… the LB goes funky. Video showing what happens at:

October 27, 2014 at 3:57 am #66394screamstoneMemberJust updated and now it’s not working at all.
The shortcode is:
[wp_lightbox_anchor_text_protected_s3_video name=”illy/ai1a.mp4″ bucket=”acatestprep” width=”800″ height=”450″ text=”Launch The App”]
October 27, 2014 at 10:45 pm #66395wpCommerceModeratorHi, do you have the “Disable Shortcode Formatting” option enabled in the Lightbox Ultimate general settings?
October 30, 2014 at 1:47 am #66396screamstoneMemberI did, but unchecked it and now is working. Is this the recommended setting? I’m using Divi theme and about to launch another site with the same combo.
October 30, 2014 at 1:56 am #66397screamstoneMemberActually, it does the same thing. Unchecking that box made the lightboxes work, but they still go funky on pause with spacebar.
October 31, 2014 at 1:05 am #66398wpCommerceModeratorIt’s not really a recommended option. Some themes tend to break the shortcodes by applying custom formatting. We just have that option to prevent it.
I just tested your video. It seems to be playing fine for me. I was able to use spacebar to pause and play several times.
November 5, 2014 at 1:51 pm #66399screamstoneMemberThis is what I’m seeing… still happening. Happens for me and users. Chrome on Windows 7 & 8.

Tips?
November 5, 2014 at 1:54 pm #66400screamstoneMemberAnd just double checked. Using the “Disable Shortcode Formatting” option stops the lightbox from working.
Using Foxy theme from elegantthemes.com. Hoping to switch to Divi soon… same thing happens there, though.
November 5, 2014 at 11:20 pm #66401wpCommerceModeratorWe will need to take a closer look at your site to see what is happening. I have sent an email to your registered email address for site access. Let me know if you don’t receive it.
October 2, 2016 at 5:50 am #66402runnerjoeMemberI am wondering if you have been able to resolve this issue. I am using your lightbox to display Amazon S3 videos. They work just fine, but when the user hits the space bar (a normal action for pausing the video), odd things happen. The lightbox becomes a small white strip (with the X in the corner, but it doesn’t work). And the only way to fix it is to refresh the page. Any ideas on how to avoid this?
October 3, 2016 at 1:12 am #66403wpCommerceModeratorThere was a bug in the flowplayer which had been fixed already. Can you please provide a link to the page in question so I can take a look?
October 3, 2016 at 2:54 pm #66404runnerjoeMemberUnfortunately, I’m working locally only on my project at the moment. Just FYI, I tried it on a YouTube, and rather than pausing, it scrolls down the page–another typical action for a browser. Also, FWIW, this is being used with Visual Composer inside a <p> tag. Not sure that makes a difference.
October 4, 2016 at 5:39 am #66405wpCommerceModeratorWhich YouTube shortcode are you using?
