Let all traffic from a given IP address through paywall

I’m just wondering if there is a way in WP emember to let all traffic from a given IP address through the paywal, even though not a member?

The reason I ask is that we have a great broken link checker service that checks our 1500 pages of content, but of course they can’t see the protected content. The good news is that I know the bott’s IP address and its fixed.

I searched the forum in the hope that someone might have done a function to allow this, but did not find anything.

Let me restate what you seem to be asking…

You want to know if it is possible to let a “certain bot,” that uses a particular IP address, scan all of your protected pages.

This will need custom coding.

If you use a WordPress plugin to do the broken links checking, then I believe it can work from inside (no need to use an external service).

Yes, we used an internal plugin, but the performance hit is nasty and the plugin is not being maintained now.

So probably need the custom coding. I will revert on that.
