Kunaki integration – shipping error

I set up the kunaki addon as instructed. Testing my estore bundled product to myself, I am getting a submisson error for shipping. I bundled 5 dvds for a product. Any suggestions?

The plugin is setting the following shipping description when talking to Kunaki via the API

USPS Media Mail

Have you configured that as a valid shipping option in your Kunaki account?

Currently the addon uses the following 4 shipping rules (based on the number of DVDs and the destination):

rule1 => ‘USPS First Class Mail’, /*1 – 2 DVD inside USA*/

rule2 => ‘USPS Media Mail’, /*3 DVDs or more, inside USA*/

rule3 => ‘Air Mail’, /*1 DVD, outside USA – Air Mail*/

rule4 => ‘Economy Air’, /*2 DVDs or more, outside USA*/

Does your Kunaki account use a different rule?

Thanks. There is no interface on Kunaki i can configure, just a xml instruction page, which i know nothing about.

The plugin sends an email when there is a submission error but does not send a success email which would be just as handy.

Today I had one successful submission and one submission error:

This appears to be an error for rule2

My successful order was a 12 dvd order to Australia which was a successful rule4.

Any suggestions?

Please tell me which mail option it should use for the following condition and I will update it accordingly:

3 DVDs or more, inside USA

Did you actually ask the Kunaki support guys a question requesting them to tell you what mail options you have available for your account?

Currently the addon is configured to use 4 different shipping descriptions based on the number of DVDs and shipping country. If you just need one shipping description then thats fine too. Just let us know what shipping description you want and we will update the addon for you.

These rules appear correct for my account when ordering directly on kunaki.

Rule 3 and 4 work.

Rule 2 seems not to work with 5 dvds in my package.

okay but you need to tell me what you want me to use in there. The current rates definitely work fine for the other users who are using it.

If you need a different rates because of your Kunaki account settings then thats fine. You just need to tell me what rates to use there and I will customize the addon for you.

Did you contact Kunaki support and tell them that the API submission for 5 DVDs with “USPS Media Mail” option doesn’t work? Then maybe they can look at your account and see if there is any restriction in your account.
