Hi,
There is a conflict with WP-emembers and backupbuddy. You’ll find all infos here: [http://ithemes.com/forum/topic/34098-ftp-issue/#entry158411]
In case you can’t see this forum I’ve upload a copy of the page here: [http://dl.dropbox.com/u/12556798/WPEMEMBER-BACKUPBUDDY.rar]
It looks like to be an issue with Javascript and maybe JQuery. I quote the guy from Backupbuddy support:
Some script or plugin is outputting javascript to all AJAX calls. This is fatally wrong and will break all kinds of stuff. Will want to determine what plugin or code you have that is doing that.
I’ve deactivate all plugin and reactivate one by on and WP-emembers looks to be the one.
Is there is a way to fix this?
Thanks,
D
November 20, 2012 at 11:33 pm #51613PeterMemberHi,
Your explanation in the download link above doesn’t appear to contain enough information.
Also I can’t seem to view the error log image inside the “rar” file.
Can you please provide the following information:
1) A more detailed description of the problem you are seeing and the exact javascript error you are getting.
2) The steps to reproduce the issue
3) Your version of eMember, WordPress
I use backup buddy all the time together with eMember and have never seen any issues.

Same here. No issues to date.
I am curious as to what may be causing this issue.
November 21, 2012 at 8:27 am #51615dorhamMemberHi,
1. Hard to explain as I don’t really understand what the error mean ^^ I’ve upload a screenshot of the error here: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/12556798/Sans-titre-1.jpg
2. It appears when I add a new ftp destination. It appears with the last BackupBuddy (the one with the new UI).
3. WordPress 3.4.2 / WPEmembers v7.9.8.5
Maybe it come from a theme conflict or something else? … I really don’t know how to get rid of this.
Thanks for your help
November 21, 2012 at 12:15 pm #51616dorhamMemberJust reminds that I also have another issue with you plug and it’s maybe related to the same error.
When I use memcached each time I change something in the admin panel of wp-emembers all my settings reset to default.
If it’s not related, just tell me and I’ll open a new thread.

November 21, 2012 at 12:16 pm #51617PeterMemberCan you please try the following:
1) Revert to the native twentyten or twentyeleven wordpress theme and check if the problem exists. If so, the theme is most probably causing this issue.
2) If after doing the above the problem persists, try testing if one of the other plugins is causing this.
Please see this for more info about how to conduct the theme/plugin conflict tests:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/test-to-identy-a-conflicting-theme-or-plugin
November 21, 2012 at 12:32 pm #51618dorhamMemberOk, I’ve run a test with the Twentyeleven theme and I always get this error so it’s not theme related.
The bad point is that if I activate one of your plug (wp estore or/and wp emember) I’ve got the same error. I’ve test all plugins ono by one and the error comes only when estore or/and emember is on.

November 21, 2012 at 3:40 pm #51621nurMembercan you show me the site url thats having the issues?
November 21, 2012 at 3:50 pm #51622dorhamMemberI’ve removed backupbuddy temporarly from my main website but you can see the problem on test.mattguetta.com
November 21, 2012 at 10:16 pm #51623PeterMemberHi,
I’m not sure what we are meant to look at on “test.mattguetta.com”?
Did you want us to log in?
If so can you please provide login details.
Going back to your previous site – did you try just having the eMember plugin and backupbuddy active but all other plugins deactivated? Then check if the problem is still there.
If problem has gone away then we can rule out the possibility that eMember is causing the problem.
Then start activating other plugins one by one and check for problem at each step until it occurs again and hopefully you can identify which plugin is the cause.
I know you said you did something similar to this before but having other plugins active before activating eMember might have masked the issue.
(For instance, one of your plugins (WP Memcached Manager) hasn’t been updated in over 2 years so I wonder if this is out of date given that there have been a few major WP updates.)
November 21, 2012 at 10:30 pm #51624dorhamMemberNur said: “can you show me the site url thats having the issues?” so I just give an url…
Yes:
. if only emember and BBuddy are on the problems is here.
. if only estore and BBuddy are on the problems is here
. if only emember and estore and BBuddy are on the problems is here
if estore/emember are off BBuddy is ok
I’ve already done activation one by one and test BBuddy with each plugin. The problems is only when emember and/or estore are active.
WP Memcached Manager don’t manage memcached it just read server info, that’s surely the reason why it don’t need to be updated… I’ve uninstall the plug (and delete the files) the problem is still the same.
As it’s a test server I’ve removed all plugins except yours and BBuddy and guess what? Still the same issue. If emember and/or estore are on BBuddy crash and if they are off everything is ok!

November 21, 2012 at 11:08 pm #51625PeterMemberOk thanks for that.
Let’s wait to see if Admin, Nur or wzp have any other suggestions. It’s likely that we’ll probably need to log into your site to take a quick look.
In the meantime, can you please install the latest fresh versions of eMember and eStore:

November 22, 2012 at 4:49 am #51626nurMemberhi dorham,
i took a look at the error message screenshot u sent. these messages aren’t generated by emember. these messages are generated by thikbox jQuery plugin. eMember doesn’t use thikbox anywhere. you’ve got something else causing that error in your site.
if you see any other error message, please let me know so I can take a look.
