I’m creating posts for members and one particular post doesn’t want to behave. When I create the post, I’m sticking a more tag in place to allow only a snippet to be displayed in the category page.
Next, I’m using a [emember_protected for=2] tag to protect content after the more tag. Now, here’s the trouble.
When the user is logged in and looking at the post in the category page, they are seeing the message ‘Your membership level does not allow you to view rest of content.’ and they don’t see a ‘continue reading >>’ link.
But if they go to the post by clicking on the title in the category page, all is good. This is the only post that seems to be doing this trick.
http://www.theonlinemarketersclub.com/category/membership-site/ is the page in question. Non-logged in users have no issues what so ever.
If you need, I can get you a login to see the issue directly.
Thanks!
Frank
Have a look at this post which might give you some pointers as to what might be going wrong:
It is also a good idea to upgrade to a fresh build of the plugin that you can download from here:
yea, I went through your initial info right away on that. There just seems to be something that the plugin just doesn’t like about that post, lol. If I remove the more tag – all is good. But once it’s there, the system isn’t working right.

ignore – system double posted by accident.
Hmmm… I will need to take a look at the backend for this. I will send you an email.
