Issue unique membership number on registration

Hi there

I want each member to have a unique 6 digit membership number issued on registration. Is this possible?

Also I would like to show, on the front end, how many registered members there are, which would be automatically updated?

The membership numbers will be unique, but they will start at “1” and go in sequence. The membership ID number is really the MySQL table index for the membership table. There is no way to modify this behavior.

Also I would like to show, on the front end, how many registered members there are, which would be automatically updated?

You can use the “Retrieve Total Members Count” PHP tweak to determine, and then display, the total membership count.

Is there a way of showing the membership ID number in the ‘registration complete’ email along with the user name and passsword?
