Hi,
I currently have the Affiliate plug-in and am considering the PDF Stamper for one of my upcoming eBooks. One additional question I do have is this: Is it possible to have the PDF Stamper work on a QuickTime MOV file as well. And if not, is there a similar plug-in you make that can stamp video tutorials that I make and sell online?
Thanks!
Doug

No. The PDF stamper is designed to stamp and manipulate PDF files only.

Two other questions:
(1) I am looking at making my ebook using iBooks Author. When finished I have the option to export the book as a PDF. Will the PDF format the iBooks software makes, fit the PDF requirements to be stamped by your PDF Stamper?
(2) The PDF file I’ll be creating will have video files embedded into it. Will the PDF Stamper still be able to stamp those files?
Thank you!
Doug

2. The videos will not be stamped only the PDF pages.

I have finished converting my videos into a 12 page PDF file with the lesson movies embedded into the file. While the page count is small the file size is quite large, coming in at 1.7 GB. Can the stamper handle that large a file? I have run the Minimum Requirement Checker plugin on my site, and need to upload the Ion Cube Decoder but everything else looks fine with my current PHP Memory limit at 256. Once the Ion Cube Decoder is installed will I have success? Payment will be via PayPal using a button on my site.
Thanks in advance!

June 25, 2013 at 6:58 am #54813adminKeymasterHi Doug, The stamper can handle any file size given your server can handle it. From my experience I can tell you that your server is not going to be able to handle a 1.7GB file unless you have a dedicated server with 2GB+ RAM. A shared hosting will never give you enough memory and CPU power to process that kind of heavy stamping request.

Best,
Doug
