Is it possible to limit the number of downloads available

when using the download now link?

Usually, because Download Now files are free (no cost), there is no reason to have limits.

Download now buttons are usually used on a page that is protected or hidden. So only certain people can go there and download the item.

What kind of limit(s) do you want and why?
