PDFStamper is working, but I would like the file delivered to be zipped. When I tried using a zipped file, I got an error message. The reason I want the file zipped is so that the zipped file can be downloaded and then the subscriber can hit another button all on the same page to continue.
It is confusing and distracting when the pdf file opens up and has to be downloaded while open. It gives the subscriber a way not to hit the continue button I have also placed on the on the download page along with instructions that tell the subscriber to click the continue button.
Nothing came up for this when searching the forum

Try Option 3.
May 27, 2016 at 11:57 am #73303mytricksandtipsMemberThanks for the information. I was able to get the file to download in a new tab. Would rather have it open in a new window that could be closed, though.
The download worked a couple of times, then stopped working. What happens now is the download button appears on my computer, but when I click the button the pdf only shows up about half of the time. The other half an error message shows which says ‘ [an error occurred while processing this directive] ‘. This only happens on my computer when using both the ‘download now’ button and also when using a custom button.
When accessing the download page and attempting to download the pdf from two other computers, the button does not show at all, but rather is replaced by text that says ‘You must be logged in to download the file’. This message is given even though I am already logged in.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled pdf Stamper, but that did not help.
How can I get the shortcode to appear and work properly?

May 28, 2016 at 4:51 am #73305adminKeymasterCan you please create a test user account then share the following details so I can inspect the behavior?
1) URL of the page where you have the stamped pdf download now button.
2) Username and password of the test user account that I can use to interact with the button.
May 28, 2016 at 3:48 pm #73306mytricksandtipsMemberI combed the forum and went through everything I could find on the subject. I then began redoing everything related to pdf stamper. I had the stock ‘download now’ button and a custom button on the same page. First the custom button began working continuously then after more changes the stock button. Unfortunately I’m not quite sure what the problem was, but the buttons are now working.
Thanks for all of the detailed info on the forum. It is painstaking to find the answers sometimes, but a good way to learn the plugins. They are great!
