Is emember kept uptodate

My question is lets say there is a security update to wordpress, and it effects your emember plugin also how long would my site be effected till you came out with a update or patch? with have members paying good money to access my membership you can see my concern.

I understand your concern… I actively support my plugins so if something like this happened (highly unlikely) it would be my top priority to address the issue and release an update (I would say, you should have something within a day or two)
