ionCube Loader V 4.4.1 for PHP 5.2 installed (confirmed)
But still unable do activate the PDF Stamper
Requirement check shows everything is fine – but ionCube Loader shows up as not installed.
=> But it is! We run several tests and every test confirmed the installation of ionCube.
Only PDF Stamper does not accept the installation.
What do we miss?
PS:
I have deinstalled the plugin and reinstalled a fresh version by update service to make sure, that the have been no upload error.
But still:
Site error: the file /homepages/7/d301042292/htdocs/MYHOMEPAGE/wp-content/plugins/wp-pdf-stamper/pdf_stamper_configs.php requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_5.2.
But ionCube is confirmed.
What do we miss?
July 18, 2013 at 3:06 pm #56664StampUserMemberWe got it:
The Problem was the fact, that the Admin has to upload the ini.php File, too. So that there is a front end / back end installation.
And thereafter the php.ini file must be placed in all WordPress Folders or the WordPress Pages in the Internet go offline.
That’s the way, we solved this one here.
May this should be listed in FAQ and Trouble Shooting guideline. It was a lot of work to figure this out.
July 18, 2013 at 3:17 pm #56665wzpModeratorThank you for contributing your solution.
The placement requirements of the *.ini files will be dependent upon how your hosting provider provisioned your server. Because every provider has different configuration philosophies, “your mileage may vary.”
August 13, 2013 at 8:28 pm #56666WTMMemberWhere exactly did you place the php.ini file(s)?
I am running into a similar issue. My issue is when I am editing a Page and try to click on the cart icon, I get the error message:
<absoluteURL>/wp-content/plugins/wp-pdf-stamper/pdf_stamper_configs.phprequires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_5.2.so to be installed by the site administrator.
But the Minimum Requirements Checker comes up fine.
I have tried placing the PDF in the “source-files” folder along with the php.ini file. I have tried just uploading a file through the media browser with no luck in either case.
August 14, 2013 at 7:36 am #56667adminKeymasterWe have seen a few hosting provider where you need to shove that file in a few different places. So try putting the php.ini file in the following folders and see which one works:
wp-admin
wp-content
August 15, 2013 at 3:29 pm #56668WTMMemberTried in both of those locations with no success. We are running our hosting through 1and1, and I also followed their specific instructions with no luck. It still comes up with the following message when editing a page and trying to push the cart button to add download option.
Site error: the file <full_location>/wp-content/plugins/wp-pdf-stamper/pdf_stamper_configs.php requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_5.2.so to be installed by the site administrator.
August 15, 2013 at 4:48 pm #56669WTMMemberAdditional information…
By manually adding the code for a free PDF squeeze page download (to be stamped), the transaction seems to go through until you click on the link emailed. Then the same error above shows up. But looking in the “stamped-files” location on the website, the PDF was actually created with the proper stamping. The link just didn’t work and the cart icon while editing a page didn’t work.
August 16, 2013 at 1:58 am #56670adminKeymasterYeah the ioncube loader is still not visible everywhere on this server. It most likely needs the php.ini file in a few different areas. I will take a look on your site. I have sent an email to get access to the site.
August 19, 2013 at 5:24 pm #56671mdantoniMemberI am simply trying to ACTIVATE the plugin and am getting this fatal error (which seems to be related to this string):
“Site error: the file /home/content/12/7620212/html/wp-content/plugins/wp-pdf-stamper/pdf_stamper_configs.php requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_5.2.so to be installed by the site administrator.”
Obviously, I need to install this loader, but where do I find it?
August 20, 2013 at 12:59 am #56672adminKeymasterHi, this is something you want to get your hosting provider to install for you on your server. Most hosting companies will install it on your server if you request them. So please contact your hosting provider and request them to install the ioncube loader module on your server.
Our minimum requirement documentation for the PDF Stamper has more info on it:
