Hi, I’m having some trouble with my wp estore
here is what I did: Made a test buy with a 100% discount. Everything goes well, until I get the emails and link. In the landing page after “payment” i got a link with this ending:
…./wp-cart-for-digital-products/download.php?file=sdWKQvYUnwwaBjDb4gYxi6rHMw%3D%3D
On the email to ME (seller) I can find this link:
…./wp-cart-for-digital-products/download.php?file=eZYSp02mHwSvxC0%3D
and the client get this link in his email:
…./wp-cart-for-digital-products/download.php?file=eZYSp02mHwSvxC0%3D
The 2 links on the email are the same. But none of them work.
Here is the log result for download_manager_debug.log:

February 23, 2011 at 6:11 pm #29381babouyesMemberbtw… I did a payment via paypal. The url on the landing page and both emails is the same. But it also contains this strange “%3D” at the end AND it doesnt work.
February 23, 2011 at 6:20 pm #29382babouyesMemberI’m 100% sure that the “stamp pdf” option was deactivated for this tests (in the product description management page im backend)… Now I deactivated the pdf stamper plugin, and It worked. I don’t have %§D at the end of the link anymore.
It’s the only change I made. It is working with paypal and with “free” products. Is there any posiblity to debug the pdf stamper?
February 24, 2011 at 2:17 am #29383amin007ParticipantStep1: After you install the PDF stamper is to configure the PDF stamper settings
Step2: Is to test your PDF stamping by doing a manual stamp first. This page explains how to do a manual stamping:
http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wp-pdf-stamper/how-to-manually-stamp-a-pdf-file-63
What do you get when you do a manual stamping?
This checklist might help if you are getting an error when doing a manual stamping:
February 26, 2011 at 11:29 pm #29384JaneMemberThat %3D is showing up on my downloads as well and causing problems with some of my customers. I have no problems with the same links. I do not have pdf stamper installed. I’d really like to know where that %3D comes from as the links still work if you take it off.
February 27, 2011 at 1:42 am #29385amin007Participant“%3D” is the HTML equivalent of “=” character. When its there the links don’t work for you?
August 26, 2014 at 1:05 pm #29386GinoMemberI’ve got 5 days into troubleshooting 1 thing – getting my video to download. I wanted to use VIMEO since I am already paying for storage there with a PRO account, and they do provide download URLs but after not being successful there I read that it takes “two round trips” and I don’t want to put my customers through that.
So I moved over to AMAZON S3 – and I have paid for an account there. This was 5 days ago, and I can’t get past the error message that it can’t open the file (which I really only want it to download anyway, not OPEN – but at this point I’d take either result as progress). Here is the error message I keep getting:
Status : Link details retrieved using file key. Link ID: 41
