My affiliate link to the portal crashed. So I downloaded the latest version of the plugin, deleted the older one and uploaded/activated the new one.
I continued to get an error.
I deleted the wordpress landing page and recreated it with the options tag “[wp_affiliate_view]” on the text box of the page exactly how the tutorial shows.
If you navigate to the link, a server error occurs.
My login link is the fully resolved link to that page entered into the settings under:”Affiliate Portal URL:” page setting.

Any ideas?

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator at webmaster@offgridwholesalers.com to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
What does your “server error log” say? Also, what version of WordPress are you using?
Some basic explanation of Error 500:

September 4, 2020 at 2:14 am #80914offgridwholesalersMemberCan you look at these links and see if they are correctly formatted?
I cannot use the short code. It blows up the site with server error on any page I put it on. So I created a page with the widget and the url for the widget is: [wp_aff_login_onpage_version url=”https://www.offgridwholesalers.com/affiliate-portal/”%5D
The “affiliate-portal” is the page the widget is on. It seems to circular resolve back to that page.
In addition, I lost track of the settings generated links to “Affiliate Portal URL” and “Affiliate Login URL”. Is there a way to regenerate them or do you have a proper format for them. I have tried all the links possible in the documentation and their formats, but none seem to work.
My Affiliate Login URL and Portal URLs, right now, are the same, but probably incorrect:
[offgridwholesalers.com/wordpress-affiliate/wp-content/plugins/wp-affiliate-platform/affiliates]
I am now confused on what goes where and what is the correct URL.
My affiliate program URL with the widget is located here: [offgridwholesalers.com/affiliate-portal]
Any help would be appreciated.
September 5, 2020 at 12:30 am #80915adminKeymasterThe correct URL should be the following:
But you really should get your hosting provider to read the server’s error log and fix the main issue.
