Is there a url that could be created or field that could be sent to the 3rd party autoresponder so that the subscriber could be sent to a download page, after 3rd party autoresponder confirmation, to deliver free downloads.
I would this as a part of the squeeze page option or a part of the manual checkout option for $0 products.
It would also be nice if you set the price to change after a certain date or a certain number of transactions.
Love the squeeze page option but there is a disconnect between the squeeze page and the double opt in for the 3rd party autoresponder. If you are delivering the product to their email for free you use the motivation to confirm subscription.
Adding the download page option instead of delivering via email would be super because it could trigger the automation option in Getresponse and Aweber Autoresponders.
December 3, 2011 at 3:53 am #39112adminKeymasterThis is something I have been wanting to add but I just can’t see an option that all of these 3 major autoresponders support (I basically want to specify a URL that the autoresponder should redirect to after the confirmation but there is no way to do this when the signup is done in the background via an API).
An alternative would be to specify a redirection URL in your autoresponder profile so after a user confirms the autoresponder can redirect to that specified URL. AWeber has introduced this option but I am not sure if MailChimp or GetResponse has it.

May 28, 2013 at 5:03 am #39115JulianMemberWith some google-fu I found this article. (For MailChimp)
Seems you can customise the thank you page. It appears to be as simple as entering the web-address-url of in the space provided.
My question now is will the download page include the expiring download link. (will it be unique still?)
May 29, 2013 at 3:02 am #39116adminKeymasterThe following solution should work for you.
1) Create a “Thank You” page or something similar and use WP eStore’s download now shortcode on that page for a product that will offer the downloadable file.
Check option 3 from the following post which will teach you how to create an encrypted download now button for a digital product:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/selling-items-for-00-giving-product-for-free
2) Use this “Thank you” page’s URL where mailchimp should redirect the user after the subscription confirmation.
3) The user will land on your thank you page after the confirmation and can download the file by clicking the download now button (this will do the encrypted download option).
