Integration with WooCommerce – Registration Link Doesn't Work

Hey all,

I’m probably more confused than anything so I’m hoping you can help me.

I have WooCommerce and WP E-Member.

I want WooCommerce to handle all account creation and purchasing for memberships. I’ve set WooCommerce to automatically generate usernames and passwords and based on the instructions I’ve read, am using the free account settings to make sure accounts are created and then upgraded to the correct level in WP E-Member.

I found a plugin that allows me to auto complete orders in WooCommerce so accounts aren’t sitting in pending. The idea is the process is completely automated with no human intervention.

In WP E-Member settings it asks for the link to the registration page because it sends out a registration completion link. What should that be given that I want WooCommerce to handle all account creation and I don’t want users filling out the same information twice, once for WooCommerce and again for WP E-Member? Right now it’s set to the cart page, but that’s not it because the registration link in the email doesn’t work.

All of the debugging is on and there are no errors with the exception of the broken registration link.

Any ideas?

Hi Laura, If a user makes a payment without being logged into the site (meaning they are making a payment as an anonymous user) then the plugin will assume that they don’t have an account yet. So it will send that registration link.

So you just have to re-check your registration flow according to what you need. There are a couple of options for you. Which of the following options are you using?

Also, have you enabled the following option already?
